Image processing

I was always used to say, the image must come out of the camera finished. Therefore, I have always chosen JPG as the image type, then also more pictures can be saved on the memory card.

Eventually I have seen other pictures of the same place, but they were much better than mine. I have asked the photographers and I always get the answer "image processing". Then I looked into it and found out how you can get much better results only with a little effort.

I quickly realized that it is almost not possible without editing. Since that I shoot only in RAW format, which makes editing much easier, because much more informations are available.

For the post processing I use Adobe Photoshop with Camera Raw. I try not to edit too much and do not spend too much time on it. The examples show the image once without and after processing!
