Photo contest of Werbegemeinschaft Hohenlimburg
The following photos were honored in the photo competition of the Werbegemeinschaft Hohenlimburg. For each object, there was still a winner and a ranking of all the winning images. Overall, I ended up with the "Boeing-plaque" at 3rd and with the "Limburger Freiheit" at 7th!

The WerbergemeinschaftHohenlimburg has launched a photo contest of February 14th to 27th, 2011. There were 10 different cultural objects to be photographed in the district of Hohenlimburg. It was very interesting because some objects I did not know and some others had not really noticed or unconsciously, partly not knowing what they stand for! It was great fun and I have learned, that it is not that easy to properly put a statue in scene. With the results I am very satisfied and those are my submissions! I'm curious what comes out, and it's another experience to see photos of other photographers from the same object. Then there are motifs and perspectives that you might not see yourself, and then you can learn a lot. That was a really great thing with the photo competition and hopefully something like this will be done again soon!

Light Games 2011
Like in last year, the Festival of Lights at the castle of Hohenlimburg took place again in this year. The theme was "A dream of 1001 nights" and there were many interesting motifs! I was a few hours there and these are a some pictures of the event:
