Wedding
At the end of June, I accompanied a wedding photographicly. The civil ceremony took place at Wasserschloss Werdringen in Hagen, where we also did some couple pictures!

Glenfinnan Viaduct
Over the Glenfinnan viaduct runs once a day at 10:45 o'clock the Jacobite Steam Train from Fort William to Mallaig, what we do not want to miss. We were there at 10 o'clock and still had a little time on that location. The viaduct has been used in several films, including some Harry Potter films.

Scotland
Together with a friend I was for 4 days in Scotland at the end of May 2013. Since we both like photography, it should be a pure "photo vacation", sleeping in the car at the previously selected locations, go latly to "bed" and get up early. The fact that the sun goes down about 21-22 o'clock and rise again around 4 o'clock, no night was actually longer than 4 hours comfortable sleep. But it was not that uncomfortable, but the days were quite strenuous because we were traveling a lot and have not slept that much. More pictures and a small trip report will follow soon. Here are already a few pictures of Scotland:

Horse Riding Day
Last weekend, there was the annual horse riding day at riding club Hohenlimburg. As another horse is down in the short term, Marlena started in the e-Training (Youth) and finally finished 2nd.

Zion NP
USA 2009: ... We went from Las Vegas to Rockville, where we have just found a bed & breakfast. The next day we were in the Zion National Park and have included at the following locations: Angels Landing, Emerald Pools, Temple of Sinawava (The Narrows) and Court of the Patriarchs. The Rise of Angels Landing was an incredible experience, and I honestly do not know id I would do it again. I was glad when I arrived back down. It is really great and truly amazing what nature has created here ...

Death Valley NP
USA 2009: ... The next stop was the Death Valley National Park, where we have also camped. We broke up early in the morning and driven by the Death Valley National Park. Our stations were Mesquite Flat Sand Dunes, Devils Corn Field, Salt Creek Trail, Golden Canyon, Devils Golf Course, Badwater, Zabriskie Point and Dante's View. The Death Valley National Park is truly impressive, the oppressive heat was so hard to imagine. ...

Cave Lights
From mid-April to early May 2013, the lighting artist Wolfgang Flammerfeld has illuminated the Dechenhöhle in Iserlohn-Letmathe. It was really interesting to see this cave in a different light.
