Norway 2014

In the middle of July I was for 5 days in Norway with a friend. Our flight was from Bremen to Haugesund, and with the car we drove north along the Hardangerfjord. Then we went to the bird cliffs on the island Runde, where although we were unlucky with the weather, but have seen many puffins. On the way to the Geirangerfjord we were at Trollstigen, but only had a view of about 20 meters. In Geiranger, the weather got better and I made a trek to Skageflå. There and back again were a total of 10km with 800 meters of altitude, particularly the 300 meters of altitude on the way back were hard. With break in Skageflå I made it in 4 1/2 hours, but was a little bit tired. Then we went on to some viewpoints and to Dalsnibba. The next day we were in Brikdalsbreen and at Aurlandfjord. Then we went back to Haugesund and by plane to Bremen.

This time it was not the pure photo holiday as we did not have quite as much luck with the weather, or were at the wrong time at some places. We slept in the car again, what actually was not so uncomfortable. The highlights were of course the puffins and the Geirangerfjord, the hike to Skageflå was an experience.
