Paris 2010
In July 2010 we stayed for a weekend in Versailles and Paris. First we visited the Palace of Versailles, the palace and the gardens are really impressive and definitely worth a visit. Then we went to Paris, our hotel was right next to the Eiffel Tower, which was very convenient. Since we have often visited Paris, we already knew a lot, but it's always nice to walk through the streets in this city. Surprisingly the Tour De France also took place this weekend in Paris. We got out of the metro and were suddenly in the midst of the crowds and were a little bit surprised. We then looked at a couple of laps, that was interesting. Although we were in Paris many times, we never managed to visit the Louvre at all. This time, however, we visited the museum for only 90 minutes but it was worth it. Paris is always beautiful and has so much to offer. We will definitely come back more often.
