Venice 2010
In August 2010, we flew for a weekend to Venice. We arrived Friday afternoon and went directly to the centrally located hotel. Then we are walked through the narrow streets, passing many channels through to the Rialto Bridge and Piazza San Marco. The next day, we are of course gone through the streets, were among others at the Campo S. Barnaba and the Santa Maria della Saluta and again at Piazza San Marco. Unfortunately, the Bridge of Sighs was completely restored, you can not just have everything. At night we were at the Rialto Bridge and the Grand Canal. On Sunday morning we went early to Piazza San Marco to make a few photos, then we were in the Ghetto area. In the afternoon we went sadly back to the airport.
Venice is a truly beautiful city that is absolutely a must have seen. The streets and canals were very clean, the people are very nice and the food typically italian. We will definitely come again to Venice!
